company in 1100-seat amphitheatre with $3.4 million budget. Duties
included:

Select Shows and Plan Seasons (generate & evaluate plays & schedules); |

Audition & cast 28-member acting company in 5-show rep (with Artistic Director & Casting Director), includes attending/conducting local, regional, national auditions; |

Select & contract directors, designers and stage managers; |

Oversee and gently guide artistic process as show develops in rehearsal with particular attention to APT’s aesthetic; monitor design development & execution with attention to aesthetics and expected resources; |

Develop & implement timelines and plans in response to Artistic Director’s articulation of institutional goals & artistic vision; |

Negotiate actor contracts and union contracts including the theatre’s agreement with Actor’s Equity Association; Address contractual and Union issues as they arise; |

Develop artistic & production budget ($1.5M); oversee execution of budget; |

Prepare feasibility studies for theatre expansion and renovation; |

Attend board meetings & strategic planning meeting; prepare & present artistic reports for same. |

Line Producer duties: facilitate & oversee the execution of production designs; Manage all details of daily production operations to ensure productions stayed on schedule and within established budgets; Recruit, hire, and supervise all production personnel (approx. 58 staff); Negotiate and execute all artistic, production, and union contracts. Serve as point person in production process for visiting directors and designers. |

actors and directors for 2-week festival of new plays;

of play development and festival events; directed staged
